Play fair.
These rules apply on every BlackForge server and in our Discord. By joining, you agree to follow them. Staff may act on anything that harms the server or its players, even if it isn't listed here.
01 Chat & conduct
Be respectful
No harassment, bullying, threats or targeting other players. Banter is fine; making someone's time miserable is not.
No hate speech or slurs
Slurs and hateful content about race, religion, gender, sexuality or disability are never allowed, including when disguised with spacing, symbols or misspellings. The chat filter mutes for this automatically.
No spam or flooding
Don't repeat messages, flood chat or type in all caps. Three spam warnings within an hour results in a mute.
No advertising
Don't post other server IPs, Discord invites or links to sell things.
Keep it appropriate
BlackForge has players of all ages. No sexual content, graphic content, or sharing anyone's personal information.
02 Fair play
No cheats or hacked clients
Fly, kill aura, reach, speed, auto-clickers, macros and any other mod that gives an unfair advantage are banned. Our anti-cheat runs on every server.
No x-ray
X-ray mods, texture packs and seed-cracking tools are not allowed. Suspicious mining patterns are flagged automatically.
Allowed mods
Performance and visual mods such as Sodium, Iris, OptiFine, minimaps without entity radar, and Litematica for planning are allowed. If you're unsure about a mod, ask in Discord first.
No exploiting bugs
If you find a bug, duplication glitch or exploit, report it to staff and don't use it. Reporting a serious exploit may earn you a reward.
No lag machines
Don't build anything meant to lag or crash the server, and keep farms reasonable.
03 Building & claims
No trust scams
Don't trick players into trusting you so you can grief or steal from their claim or island.
Raiding is allowed on Factions
Raiding unclaimed or unprotected land is part of Factions. On Survival and Skyblock, respect other people's builds.
No offensive builds
Builds, signs, item names and skins must follow the same rules as chat.
04 Trading & economy
No scamming
Do what you agreed to in a trade. Use /ah for safe trades with other players.
No real-money trading
Selling in-game items, money, accounts or ranks for real money or for items on other servers is not allowed.
05 Accounts
You're responsible for your account
Anything done on your account counts as done by you. Don't share your login.
No ban evasion
Using another account to get around a ban or mute extends the punishment to every account involved.
Respect staff
Follow staff instructions in-game. If you disagree with a decision, appeal calmly through a Discord ticket.
06 Punishments
Chat offences escalate automatically across the whole network. Staff can always skip steps for serious offences.
